Denise McCabe and Bruce Bartlett accept Lifetime Achievement Award for Bernie McCabe from Tampa Bay Area Chiefs of Police Association

Presentation of Lifetime Achievement Award

On September 11th, the Tampa Bay Area Chiefs of Police Association had their annual awards gala. This year’s Lifetime Achievement Award was presented posthumously to Bernie McCabe.

The Association mentioned Mr. McCabe’s great relationship with and support for law enforcement over his 48 years at the State Attorney’s Office, among several other accolades.

Denise McCabe and State Attorney Bruce Bartlett were present to accept the award on behalf of Mr. McCabe. This was the first time the Association had given the award to a posthumous recipient.
